In the 80's I was systematically sexually abused for the second time in my life....Those experiences effected my life forever...

Just over a year ago I plucked up the courage to finally report it....

I didn't think I would be believed....

I told my story and was treated like a victim for the very first time....

A few weeks past and I got another visit from the police officer....they had started a full investigation and as they started to ask various people I had vaguely remembered from the house, they started to say what happened to them.....

I can't talk about the case but 1 year on from my initial report , they have uncovered over 100 further victims.....and it's about to go to the prosecution for formal charges....

"the biggest case we've ever had" said the police officer.....

I'm glad something I did has given other's the chance to heal....but to know that we are not alone anymore...
